First Post || Luxury Lush Pud ♡

Just before Christmas a Lush opened up in my hometown and although I've been to Lush to plenty of times before I decided to take full advantage of their opening sales and went and bought a ton of bath bombs. One of the things I purchased was one of their Christmas season bath bombs called 'Luxury Lush Pud' and after having used this product I've come to the conclusion that this is my new favourite bath bombs by Lush!

 

 

When you put this bath bomb into your bath it fizzes out into a gorgeous colour, the multi-coloured polka-dots produce what I suppose you could call, pastel coloured floating islands which look a little something like this...

 

 

I love this bath bomb for many reasons, one of which is the gorgeous colour it turns the water, once the lights were out and the candles lit around my bathroom it turned this lovely purple shade which was a mixture between a lovely Ribena, plum colour which in some lights looked nearly black. I know the concept of a dark, near black coloured bath may seem odd, even disgusting to some people however in my opinion I thought this really quite cool!

If the concept of a dark bath really doesn't appeal to you then just don't turn out the lights,(you can still light candles and everything I just feel it doesn't have the same effect but it's up to you) with the lights on the bath's colour is a pink ish, magenta, purple? I have no idea  how to describe this colour to be perfectly honest however I will say that this colour is totally beautiful and I love it so. so, so much!!

 

 

 

Part of the reason I love this bath bomb so much is that it makes your bath so relaxing and soothing, it also has a really lovely scent although I can't think of how to describe the way it smells? It smells quite floral, it's a bit like lavender but it's nicer in my opinion.

 

I used this bath bomb just a little over an hour before I went to bed and I must say I think, due to this bath bomb's scent and colour that this bath bomb is most suited to an evening bath rather than a morning bath, especially before bed!

 

Some people say that this bath bomb is essentially their 'Twilight' bath bomb repackaged to look different but I personally have no problem with that, I find this bath bomb so much cuter, especially with the little holly leaves on the top!
